Each dog we welcome into our home and into our hearts makes a unique mark on us. In some ways we become changed people through our daily interactions. We are shaped and enriched by our experiences and so often grow as individuals for having known one another.

The one absolutely unselfish friend that we can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts us, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is our dogs. When our faithful friends must leave us we are bereft, this page is dedicated to those that have passed and we want to remember.

We especialy remember the four Musketeers lost in the Manchester Dogs Home Fire and set up a memorial to them, Nico, Tom, Roger and Flora.

We named one of our kennels "the Musketeers" In honor of them and are asking for sponsors for their kennel that helps to save over thirty dogs a year and costs over £9,000 to run. Please help by giving £3 a week to sponsor the kennel.

Our work is only possible thanks to the great kindness of those who give us donations or remember us in their wills. We are truly grateful to our supporters for their great generosity.
