Look at those ears! How could anyone not love this little guy? Everyone who has met Lurch can not say a bad word about him, he is the perfect companion and whoever he chooses as his new best friend will be lucky to have him.
He is very well behaved when our volunteers spend time with either inside playing with toys when he will return them back to your feet so you can continue to play together. Or out on long walks, where he will not pull or be in a rush to find the next spot to pee, but rather he will stick by your side while you explore together.
He is an 18 months old, and like a lot of young boy (both dogs and people!) he loves his toys. But instead of a PlayStation or an Xbox he would much rather have a ball or a ragger. All he needs now is someone to play with, anyone who will enjoy seeing him happy and being able to act like a normal dog will do!
Lurch is friendly guy who gets along with everyone he meets, and always make sure they don’t get away without stroking him. He is also great with other dogs and shares his night time kennel with another dog, so a home where he would have to share his owner would not be a problem.
If you would like to take this gorgeous lad home and watch him grow into a beautiful dog then come down and visit him at Merseyside Dogs Home, we are open 7 days a week.
As a stray dog we hold no previous history, we can only give you our observations but he does deserve a second chance!
Having joined us on the 25th October 2018 he is looking for a forever home, in line with policy we cannot rehome to homes with children under six years old.
