Fundraising

Whether you would like to fundraise by running a marathon, assist at one of our summer events or dedicate some of your spare time to lending a hand at the centre, we would love to hear from you!
To help you we have set up a just giving page. From here you can link your own page and help to raise FUNDS.

Fundraising
There are several fundraising events throughout the year that you can get involved with from skydives to marathons to the fastest zip line in the world!

Our first skydive in June was a huge success, with 9 brave participants taking to the skies in the name of Merseyside’s lost dogs. If you want to take part in our next skydive, please get in touch on our details below.

Or why not tackle your fears and help raise FUNDS by experiencing the closest thing to flying! Spaces are available for the Zip World Velocity at Bethesda, Wales on Saturday 27th August. Get in touch for details.

We also have our sponsored walk up Mount Snowdon, led by Merseyside Young Walkers group, taking place on Saturday 6th August. We are looking for 12 dogs and their owners to take part and get sponsored to reach the top - just imagine the views!

Or do you have your own idea for a great fundraiser to raise vital funds for Merseyside’s lost dogs? Let us know and we will do all we can to help. We will send you a fundraising pack with lots of hints and tips about organising your own event, and will send you our Merseyside Dogs Home Sponsor Forms. You will even receive your own t-shirt so everyone will know who you are fundraising for!

Events
We are always on the lookout for animal lovers to help at our regular collections and events. If you are able to spare even a couple of hours to bucket collect in Liverpool or man a stall at our Bark in the Park dog show, get in touch below.
For a full list of our events, please visit our events page.

Volunteering
The safety and happiness of every one of our dogs is dependent on support from our team of fantastic volunteers. Without them, we would not be able to help those hundreds of dogs we care for each year.

If you would like to volunteer at the centre, there are various ways you can help, from socialising the dogs to cleaning kennels to administration duties. Please fill out a volunteer form and email to the below address.

Getting involved in any aspect of Merseyside Dogs Home life could not be easier. Simply email fundraising@merseysidedogshome.org or call 0151 374 2001 and let us know how you would like to play your part.

Our work is only possible thanks to the great kindness of those who give us donations or remember us in their wills. We are truly grateful to our supporters for their great generosity.
